where to stay

ACCOMMODATION

For hotels or villas, we recommend staying in;

Sotogrande (15min): The main town near the venue. It's a relatively exclusive coastal spot known for its marina, golf courses, and great Mediterranean restaurants.

Torreguadiaro(15 min): A modest typical beachside commune with tapas and a friendly Andalusian atmosphere.

Estepona (30 min): For those needing a larger town - it has charming whitewashed streets, colourful flowers, and long sandy beaches—it's a quintessential Costa del Sol resort town.

Castellar de la Frontera (15 min): An inland, hilltop village with a medieval castle, surrounded by rolling countryside and incredible views. For those who want to get away from civilisation and typical resort towns, and don't need a beach.

One of the things we love about Andalucia is going up into the hills, so if you want to get away from it all, we put together a small list of places that look very rustic and not too far from the venue HERE

OTHER HOTELS

For other hotels, here's a list of places we think look nice in the area!

  • Hotel MIM Sotogrande: looks quite luxurious and you're right in the middle of the marina. Undergoing some renovations at the moment so you can't book until May 25.

  • SO Sotogrande: for anyone who doesn't mind splashing out for some luxury. Golf, spa, restaurant, basically everything you need.

  • Alcaidesa Boutique Hotel: great views, very stylish, definitely not cheap but right on the beach.

  • Hotel La Almoraima: so this hotel is up in the mountains and would be great if you just want to get away from everything. We drove up here after our first visit to the monastery. It really is beautiful, very tranquil and has everything you need. Very secluded and reasonable.
