Andalucia

We know you are travelling for our wedding, and some of you will want to make a holiday out of it. Here are our top recs on what to do and see.

SOTOGRANDE

Sotogrande is a little bit like Made in Chelsea on sea. A little port tow on the Andalusian coastline, it's got world famous golf courses, polo clubs and an upmarket feel.

If you love sports, then there's the tennis, padel, polo clubs... or if you'd prefer some walks, there's lots of beautiful caminos in the area especially if you go up into the hills.

RESTAURANTS & CAFES RECS TO COME.

ANDALUCIA

If you haven't been Andalusia, you're in for a treat and September/October is the best time to go. It's not as hot and the tourists are starting to thin out. Andalusia is famous for its Moorish architecture and flamenco, tapas, matadors and bullfights.

Most people tend to think of Andalucia as hot, dry plains but Andalusia has the Iberian peninsula's highest mountains and nearly 15 percent of its terrain is 3,300 feet above sea level. Another fun fact is that nearly 20 percent of Andalusia soil lies in a protected area so that means great walks and dramatic views.

As you all know Dean and I love our food (and Google map ratings), so we've compiled a wishlist of the area. We've got a combination of landmarks and restaurants (of course) to keep you occupied. You're welcome.
